Jonathan Batt

National Director, Digital Strategy

As National Director for Digital Strategy, Jonathan is responsible for defining and developing the Digital Road Map for all US Wealth Businesses which include: BMO Harris Financial Advisers, BMO Private Bank, and BMO Family Office. In addition, he is directing the creation and implementation of BMO Wealth Management's remote/digital advice offering. Jonathan is also the Chairperson for the US Wealth Management Diversity & Inclusion Market Engagement Committee, which actively promotes BMO’s commitment to Inclusion & Diversity by leveraging existing partnerships and creating new opportunities to engage in communities.

 

He started his career in at Bank One/JP Morgan Chase in the Retail Branch Manager Development Program. He was promoted to the Sales & Retention Manager for JPM’s West Region before joining BMO (formerly M&I) in 2005 as a Controller for Retail, Private, and Commercial Banking in Arizona. In 2012, he relocated to Chicago to become the Senior Finance Manager for P&C Banking and BMO Private Bank.  He most recently served as the Regional Director for Operations from 2016-2018 before being promoted to his current position. 

 

Jonathan graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology & Political Science with minors in German and European Area Studies. He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado with a concentration in general management, lending, financial management and leadership & human resources. Jonathan also completed BMO’s Senior Leadership Development Program.
